ABOUT THE LIGHTFESTIVAL
Once upon a time,
There was a beautiful path through a secret forest. Every night at sundown, close to Christmas, the forest came to life with magical lights. All the forest dwellers gathered to create light. Night after night, the forest became brighter and brighter, and brilliant lights could be seen from all around…
Start your journey through the enchanted woodland forest that celebrates nature. There, the majestic stag is the protector of all the little woodland dwellers who turn themselves into light to sparkle and share their special glow. As you continue on your journey, you will meet the ice maiden and her faithful snow wolves, who help to look after all the animals and keep check on the cute and mischievous snow people in the ice forest, where they celebrate the wonder of Winter. Pegasus rules over the fantasy forest and protects the friendly fairies (Adelina, Fayetta, Elvenia and Kip) who live there. Together they celebrate all things magical and mystical.
At the end of the forests, travel through the light tunnel portal to arrive at Gingerbread Lane, which leads to Christmas wonderland at the North pole. There you can find some mischievous elves, some more surprises, and visit Santa Claus in his cabin. Experience the true spirit of Christmas as you eat, drink and be merry in the North pole village, with gastronomical delights, live festive entertainment and pick up some holiday gifts at our North Pole Marketplace.
We hope you feel the joy as you sip a hot chocolate or a cup of mulled wine with some delicious snacks, as you wander on your journey through the forests, and enjoy the special atmosphere of each land.

Cloverdale Community kitchen
The Cloverdale Community Kitchen (CCK) exists to build a strong and healthy community with a focus on alleviating poverty in Cloverdale, Surrey, White Rock and Langley. The CCK is a networking hub where people serve together, work together and support each other. The four areas of focus are providing food, clothing, shelter as well as the Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program.
It is the Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program’s mission to serve the underprivileged and struggling individuals and families in a practical way during a joyful, yet often challenging Christmas season. The hamper program is a community effort that has supported seniors, children, people with disabilities and the marginalized in our communities for 30 years, ensuring that their needs are met during the holiday season.
When you make a donation, either while purchasing your Lumagica tickets online, or while visiting Santa in the North Pole, you will be enriching the lives of those in need this season. We invite you to join us in amplifying our community spirit this year by making a one-time donation,100% of which will go to the Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program. Charitable tax receipts will be available for all contributions over the amount of $20.
